TAKE AWAY NOW AVAILABLE AS WELL AS EAT IN DUE TO CO-VID
In light of the current co-vid situation we’re changing up our opening times a bit and also the way we operate. We are now offering a take away menu as well as the option to eat in.
First of all, thanks to everyone for your continued support of our pub, it means a lot to us in these worrying times.
As with other pubs, we’re intending on staying open until told otherwise by the government.
We, like many other venues will be adhering to all the government guidelines in regards to hygiene and the wellbeing of our customers.
Each day (as always) the Colonel is cleaned professionally and following that before opening will be also be doing a thorough deep clean on all surfaces, door handles etc with anti bacterial spray and disposable towels.
We are lucky with the Colonel Fawcett to have large and open spaces – we have gardens and two rooms (up and down) which will allow for social distancing very easily.
We do ask if you’re feeling unwell, please do not attend the pub but if you’re feeling fit and able, then please make the trip to our pub and support us here!
A few changes will be made for the foreseeable future – we will open at 4.30pm Monday – Friday and from midday on Saturday and Sundays.
On top of all of this – we’ve been hard at work creating a take away menu for those that don’t feel comfortable spending time in the pub itself or would like to provide food for friends and family who are choosing to self isolate.
Please see the menu HERE and give us a call on 0207 267 9829 to order.
Regardless of all the above, we wish all our followers and customers all the best in the future, we’re all in this together and we’re all being affected now and possibly even more so in the future.
Much love, The Colonel.
In the past eight years The Colonel Fawcett has built up a reputation for serving up some of the best British food in the area and has gone from strength to strength, picking up prestigious awards along the way such as The Observer Food Monthly Best Roast in the U.K.
Provenance, sustainability and seasonality is key to our head chef Mike Berry’s ethos. We use meats from Dedham Vale, Tudge’s & Daphne’s lamb, our fish is from Marr Fish and our delicious vegetables from Camden locals, Ormond’s fruiterers.
Everything is made inhouse – from pickles, to chutneys and beyond; aside from our bread which is from local bakers, Spence.
