In the past nine years The Colonel Fawcett has built up a reputation for serving up some of the best British food in the area and has gone from strength to strength, picking up prestigious awards along the way such as The Observer Food Monthly Best Roast in the U.K, Evening Standard Best Roast and many more.
Provenance, sustainability and seasonality are key to our pub’s ethos towards food. We use only well sourced, free range meats in all of our dishes from HG Walter, Tudge’s & Daphne’s lamb & beef.
Our fish is from local Camden company, Daily Fish Supplies and our delicious vegetables from other Camden locals, Ormond’s fruiterers.
Everything is made in-house – from pickles, to chutneys and beyond; aside from our bread which is from local bakers, Spence.
